MCBA National show in Auburn Indiana March 25th 2023

The weather was so unusual this year that the path was clear and dry for me to make it to this show! It is the first time I have been able to attend. The drive from San Antonio, Texas to Auburn, IN took me 26 hours to drive straight through each way.

Setting up in the 4H building.

The day before the show is the best time to learn and chat with everyone. Many breeders show up early to assist with setup and are happy to educate. Everyone is welcome at these shows.

Morning of the show, more chinchillas have arrived overnight and everyone is getting down to business brushing chinchillas and filling out cage cards.

This show is a lot larger than the regional shows and tends to have a larger attendance of both chinchillas and people.

Judging also took a lot longer, judges this year were Jordan Manalo and Rodger Clark, both truly amazing judges.

This is the champions lineup. I had an amazing time and took Champion Sapphire and Reserve champion angora male with my stunning Tov mosaic Angora.
